I'm pretty sure that without increasing the bore, you won't see any gains in hp. Just peace of mind that you strengthened your engine some.

No horse power gains but you can run high psi without a worry in the world and that equals more power......

I read that WRX engines tend to die at such low boost pressures not because of weak internals, but because of heat. It makes sense to me because the turbocharger is packed right up against one of the cylinders. In most turbo cars, those things are hotter than the freakin' sun.

What I'm saying is that strengthening the internals probably won't let you run much higher psi unless you move the turbo or do something else to signifigantly remove heat from that back corner of the engine.
