Plugs fouling?
bump, I have a subaru rep coming to look at my car on thursday, he says without looking at my car he thinks the blow-off valve cause a lean condition causing a ring to go bad. I am hoping there might be a chance that its just a fouled set of plugs.
Well the Subaru rep just opened the hood and saw my "Boost modifying pop-off valve" and said Subaru isn't going to warranty it. He also thinks that cause my car smokes only at idle that I have a blown piston and that I will have to buy a whole new long block from subaru and pay for it all myself.

Car Info: 2016 Acura RDX ... meh. Um, nice subwoofer?
"Boost modifying pop-off valve" ... that's one of the bettAr ones i've heard in a while. Why in the heck did you go to the dealership with the aftermarket device installed that you thought was causing the problem in the first place?
OK, now that I've berated you enough...
Did you try removing the BOV and see what happens? Have you remove any of your plugs to see if they are fouled?
and of course...
what color is the smoke?
white = coolant (possibly a blow head gasket or other things)
blue = oil (icky)
black = fuel (richie rich mixture)
