Denso iridium plugs gapping problem

Has anybody installed these spark plugs?
I ordered the plugs and found the instructions inside recommend these gapping distances:

mild mods: 0.032 in.
mild-heavy mods: 0.03 in.
with upgraded ignition: 0.034 in.

The fact is, almost all other cars don't require such narrow gaps....and it's difficult to gap since the plugs came in pretty wide open gaps ( i already broke one plug...)

Any light?

Shiv and most of the other WRX tuners recommend a gap of .028, but according to NGK's web sit you should not chang the gap more than .010 So you need to find a plug in your heat range that is with in the tolrance of gap change.

You gotta be kidding....
I already broke one plug just trying to gap it from the original .04 inch to .03
With my very human hands and the little tool i bought from Kragen, there's no way I can make the gap smaller than .02
Where do you guys get the tools for doing this?

you don't regap iridiums. I assume that you have ik22's ... their gap is already in the right range anyway.
