Opinions On This Set up...
After getting ripped by an SRT-4, a Feakin Dodge, I'm deciding to do a little bit of engine work to prevent this type of crap from happening again.
Tell me what u think of this set up that I'm going for:
Power Upgrade:
Turbo:
1. Power Enterprise PE1820 Turbine
or:
a) HKS GT2540 Turbine
b) IHI VF-22 or VF-34 Turbine
Fuel System:
2. Sard Fuel Pressure Regualator
3. Perrin Fuel Rail
4. Power Enterprise Injecors 600-800cc's
5. Walbro Fuel Pump
or:
a) Nippon-Denso Fuel Pump
b) Toyota Supra TT Fuel Pump
Cooling:
6. PWR Radiator
7. Turbo XS Top Mount Intercooler
or:
a) Turbo XS FMIC
b) Perrin FMIC
c) XS Engineering FMIC
Exhaust
I have these 3 already)
1. HKS Ti-Exhaust
2. Invidia Downpipe
3. GT Spec HEader System W/Up-pipe
Air/Fuel/Boost/Gauges/Controllers:
1. HKS EVC 5 Boost Controller
2. HKS Super AFR
3. HKS Knock Amp
4. HKS Fuel Cut Defencer
5. Bee R* Rev Limiter Controller
6. Defi Type BF Temp and Boost Gauges(I have all of these gauges starting from EGT all the way to Turbo Boost gauge)
"Spark"
1. HKS Circle Earth Grounding Kit
2. NGK Iridium Spark Plugs (1 step Colder)
3. Optima Yellow Top Battery
4. Some Type of an MSD Ignition Kit
So, what do you guys think of this Set up??? Any comments, opinions, critiques, are welcomed...BAD OR GOOD.
I'm not doing this just to spank SRT-4's, Civics/Tegs(Si, GS-r or Type R, or whatever Type there's is out there). I want to be able to keep up with bigger boys and their Supras, RX-7s, and so on.
I already got the suspension to take them on twisties. I just need the power on straight aways.

Go with the VF34 and STi injectors. Keep the top mount. Add the Walbro. Switch to NGK copper plugs (BKR7ES-11). Switch to a better engine management system than 4 HKS piggybacks.
The VF34 with injectors is capable of 240 whp on the stock IC, which is more than most stage I SRTs make. Unless you run switchable maps for race gas, a new intercooler won't be a huge difference until you are well over 400 crank horsepower. And even then, I would recommend sticking to a top mount.

yeah you're right. i definitely want a bigger top mount intercooler. the fmic makes the turbo lag even more, that's what i've heard anyway.
as for the ecu i was just gonna go for the hks F-con series. and just add the boost controller
thanks

Pogi, I would not recommend the F-Con. Modern software technology allows reflashes and piggybacks to make all the available power from your bolt-ons without inducing any drivability or tuning issues. There's nothing a stand-alone or single-function piggyback (like SFCs and boost controllers) can do better than the factory ecu when it comes to idle, emissions, throttle transitions, etc. while the EcuTek reflashes and Xede can do all of the horsepower tricks of the old types of engine management. To top it off, one reflash or Xede costs less than an SFC, EBC, timing controller, and J&S Safeguard.
