I don't know oil temp in F, but on my uber modded WRX, the oil temp is always about 10-15' hotter than water temp in C. And my water temp is usually ~ 85-90 degrees C. Hope this helps, a little bit.

that would mean the ratio is around 95-105C on oil temp or approximately 200 - 220 F
I just installed my Defi gauges today. My oil temp sensor is in the rear gallery (under the intercooler). Driving home on the interstate @ around 65mph it was about 200F, and going across the bridge at 115 it went up to around 220, but not higher (about 4 minutes worth of 100+ driving).
What is considered "high" is of interest to me, since I still need to set the warning value.
