Oil in the IC?...
Is there supposed to be oil getting into the IC. I now have a FMIC and I have noticed that there is oil that was lightly fogging the driver side of my FMIC. The clamp was a little loose, so I tightened it....
but is that normal?? Could this affect boost? Do you think the turbo seals could be bad?? I have had the PE 1818 for a few months...I am only boosting to about 9-11 psi...could it be the factory BC??
Need help

Its oil vapor from the valve covers. Get a oil catch can to eliminate this problem. When you do install the catch can you might want to clean out the FMIC to remove any oil left in there. The oil vapor doesn't help reduce the chances of detonation and it will just add to carbon build up in the motor. You can get a catch can for cheap if you just want something low end. The Greddy ones run around $90.
