oil drain plug

is there a metal washer on the oil drain plug i think i lost it but i dont ever remeber there being one thanks guys

Yeah there is one. It is a crush washer. After it is "crushed" it looks very thin and should stick to the plug pretty well when you take it out. Go get one at dealer. You will need somekind of washer on that bolt or else it might leak oil.

Some people replace the oil drain plug gasket/washer at each oil change.

Others get the Fumoto Oil Drain Valve.

Or go straight to www.fumotovalve.com . I have one and it's a lot easier when changing my own oil.

That site works but lubespecialist.com charges two bucks less. They shipped by First Class Mail and I had it within the week.
