Yesterday while I was driving home I lost almost all of my boost. The turbo will only spool up to about 5 psi not enough to open the blow off valve. Anybody have a problem like this?

 

what mods do you have on the car now?

 

Complete exhaust, bov, intake, alt power pulley.

 

Did you find the reason for the lack of boost. I have the same problem.

Check your exhaust....possible uppipe leak?

 

Any intake lines missing ? The wastegate Valve missing the pill from the turbo ?

I finaly figured out what the problem was. it was a bad wastegate control solenoid valve.
if you want to check if this is the same problem your having. disconnect the vac line off the wastgate controler. and take it for a LITE drive around the block with it disconnected. you will be at max boost so take it easy & dont get addicted to the power. if you get max boost the problem is your wastegate control solenoid.

solution buy a boost controler & hook it oh so the factory controler is out of the loop

this was just the problem I had I am not saying thatyour situation will be the same
