Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

get a Helix Flex Up pipe and downpipe first . . . you can get the combo for 450.

then you should still have enough money for a turbo back ! then your set !

Get an uppipe, some stiffer springs/struts, stainless steel braided brakelines, pads/rotors, dot 4 brake fluid, and tires.

Anything that alters emissions is not legal. The Helix u-pipe is illegal in all states. So is the helix 3'in downpipe with no cat. Most people run catless though just make sure you don't get a loud muffler.

I wouldn't say most people run catless, a few do, but lots of people keep 1-2 cats to pass emissions and keep the noise and smoke level down.

$1500 :-)

For $1500 I would recommend you to get a GT-Spec V2 Header System W/Up-pipe, Helix(Or Invidia)Bellmouth Downpipe, & Helix Catback System.

The main idea behind this is to take away the restricted stock exhaust system of the WRX...
