if you are getting a WRX you already have the stock setup, so I don't know why you would buy his for 200 bucks, unless his turbo is ported and polished.

So with your 2,000, I would get a used 02-03 cobb accesport purchesd from someone on this website, a helix catless downpipe, and what ever cat-back you would like. All can be had for pretty cheap on here if you buy it used. Tune to Stage 2. take out your stock up-pipe and gut the catalitic converter. All of that can pretty much be done with 1,300 bucks, if you get used parts. Then you might want to look into getting an exhaust manifold. You will pretty much have the same setup that I do. I just ran a 13.2 at 103mph at the track with a 1.9 60ft time, which is pretty abysmal. My friend has an 04 GT mustang with all kinds of crap done it it, runs mid 15's. That car can't touch my car in any gear from any pull. If he thinks it pulls hard up top, he is wrong, mustangs all all pretty much low end grunt cars. you will whoop his *** pretty bad from a highway roll. When I say you will beat him with that setup, that is mild if he is running a 13.9, you will pull and pull on him. Please get the car, get the mods, and shut his dumb *** up.

you would need to spend money on tuning to make the setup work with a sti turbo, you would also need to upgrade your exhaust, especially uppipe to make this work. So in the long run you would end up spending way over 2k.

my buddy has his stock turbo, injectors, and fuel pump he said he would sell me for 200bux
Those side-feed injectors won't work on a stock WRX.

If you want to pull on a Mustang, the Vf39 isn't a great turbo. It's pretty small, as aftermarket turbos go. If you want more oomph, go for a VF22 (fairly comparable in price, but a lot more top end). You may be able to find someone who is willing to trade for the VF39.

With anything other than the VF30 or VF34, you will probably also need a custom tune. The tune can make a pretty big difference in power.
