a friend an myself installed a VDO turbo boost guage today and it will only show about 8lbs of boost.the needle bounces when turbo is boosting, the needle "shakes" more than it bounces but stops at 7-8 lbs.it seems to rise better going half throttle than when going WOT.it builds up to the a point and doesnt go any further.my mods are vishnu stage 0 samco i/c hoses.if anyone has any tips that might help that would be great.the car runs the same so the turbo is still boosting ok.i am wondering if this gauge is good i only paid $40 for it or is it a piece of junk? thanks

make sure to zip tie or clamp all the vacuum hoses to the boost guage. You might have a vaccuum leak. Also, where did you install it? It might not be reading correctly if you put it in the wrong place. I placed mine on the BOV hose, 30 mm away from the bov connection. I just installed a "T" fitting.
