need some help!!
I have an 03 wrx wagon. i just rigged my stock blow off valve to sound louder. i just removed the hose from the blow off to the turbo then pugged the hose. the sound is much louder and i like it but my engine is not idling right now. whenever i am stopped the turbo guage fluxuates from .03 to .05 stock it hung out aroun .03 and stayed there. the rpms go down below 500 then come back up to normal but it sounds like it wants to stall. anyone that can help please let me know. also i heard that i could go to a parts store and buy a valve for like 4.99 and rig a boost controller. has anyone done that? i know i should just go and buy the real one but that saves me $ now and could still get me faster. any suggestions please

Yes, I have a suggestion, buy my manual boost controller for 60 bucks and be done with it... it's this one... http://www.gofastbits.com.au/boost.htm, I even have the GFB bov hybrid to match if you want it.

Oh, and I'm not sure how to solve your current bov problem, I'll ask my buddy tonight, he's pretty good with free mods, I'll let you know tomorrow if I find anything.
