Need help w/ hks ssbov
I have a hks ssbov and I lost the nut and screw adjustment, but was running fine. I went to a hardware store and replaced it, but I guess I overtightened it because it stopped working. No sound, nothing. I took the screw and nut out, and still nothing. Does anyone have any experience w/ this? Can it be broken from simply overtightening it?
I've checked all connections and hoses, and it seems everything is hooked up right. No sound, on full throttle, there is quiet studdering sound that seems to come from the bov.
Could it be my turbo?
I'm also overboosting alittle on my profec A. I set boost @0.9 bar and it goes to 1.0 and sometimes alittle higher. Are these problems related?>
Any suggestions help.
I'm ****ting bricks 'cause I don't want to take chances w/ my new baby.
Thanks guys--in advance that is.

Id take the whole thing off, and replace the stock BOV. Then Id send the hks bov to HKS and have them look at it to diagnose the problem if it is in fact a BOV problem. Otherwise Id go to a local performance shop that has a good reputation with turbo cars and have them look at it.
