Hi, hope someone can help, jst bought 2000 Impreza WRX, want to know whas the best turbo upgrade for my car. I want huge amounts of horsepower with quick response, been looking into a HKS or Trust turbos but not sure wich one. Please help!

 

Define huge hp and quick response.

 

umm somethin glike around 400 to 500hp
n spoool up around 3500 rpm or 4000

What do you think of the HKS range of turbos for the WRX's or even Blitz n those sorts of brands.

 

Red wont get him there..too big and laggy for his specified boost rpms, but will get him those crank hp levels.

if you wants spool at the 3500 to 4000rpm levels a VF series will be the choice but wont reach those hp levels either. for 400 crank, a AVO 450, PE1820, GT30R would be in the range, but spool would be at 4000-4600rpm, unless aided by a little nitrous shot.

as far as HKS, the HKS GT3037 will get the 400+hp numbers on the 2.0L..and should reach 400 whp with C16 race fuel...never heard anything good or bad about Blitz turbos.
