I'm pretty sure the Greddy Type S is definitely the bird whistle kind of sound and the TXS H or H-RFL is just a whoosh of air.

Yea i have the hybrid....not as loud as RFL but the upside is that you can have it 50/50. Sound is not like the whistle of the HKS SSQ...more of a whoosh

Typical Honda boy wanting to join the turbo world. My first mod is going to make sure that everyone knows I no longer drive a slow POS Civic.

let the guy buy what he wants for the car, his car, his money, so why does it really concern you. He's asking for help, not flames, so if u can't help, then just slowly move your mouse to the back button on your I.E.

but anyhow, the turbo xs RFL is a little ear peircing woosh, not like the bird whistle kind, but it's like a mix between that AND air. that's what i like, and that's what i have =] got it for 130 shipped with flange, brand new. hope this helps

Agreed- it's your money, do what you want. But be warned that atmospheric blow off valves are detrimental to performance. When you don't recirculate the excess boost, the turbine slows down. Then when you get back on the throttle after the shift, it has to spool bag up before making full boost again. It's not a huge difference, but is noticeable. If you are ok with that and really just want a cool sounding blow off valve, go for it. As for which one sounds cool, I couldn't help you mang. If possible, go to some meets and see who else has them and listen to them in person.
