need help asap
hey guys, I need help now! Yesterday I put on a manual boost controler per these instructions : http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...p?threadid=729
no matter how much I turned up the boost the car never went over .05 bar. So I disconnected the mbc and went back to factory.
I can't get over .05. WTF! I disconnected the battery all night to try and reset the ecu. No luck. Still .05. I need help now.Should I have disconnected the factory boost solinoid as well as capping off the line. Any ideas?

Can you post a pic? Also what size vacuum lines are you using? If you are using large vacuum lines it may cause your boost controller to not be able to build pressure. The smaller the vacuum lines the quicker pressure builds. Take a couple good shots of your set up and we'll be able to help out better.
which factory lines did you use?
there is a restrictor inside the line that goes from the 'T' to the compressor fitting. It shouldn't matter, but it might.
you should buy some vac line and use it for starters. What mbc are you using? Obviously, if you connect it 'backwards', it will not allow you to adjust boost any higher.

This pick isn't exactly what you have, but... There are 2 restrictor & the necessary one is in the hose & before the "T"... The second one is optional & usually gets upsized to a 3/16" coupler.

If you start at the light grey hoses; Then, get rid of the dark black ones, mbc & the solenoid. That is the factory setup...sorta
The key indicates "factory parts" you can see the order of things & how it was sorta...
If this gets you totally lost then ignore it.
