The 5Zigen Fireball doesn't put out very good power from what I've read. But if you're interested in hearing first-hand experience, Ed (hokusai) from BAIC had one before.

I checked out the turbo-mag catback shootout and the fireball wasn't the best, but it was far from the worst. It was about 4hp and 3ftlbs less than the HKS (which was the best performer). I would probably be willing to give up a few HP for a few DB's.
I'll check with Ed to see what he thought about it. Man... there are so many exhausts available. Choices, choices, choices... I'm like a kid inside of a candy shop researching all of these exhausts.
Ryan... you are a wealth of information. It must be that fine jesuit education!

The only thing that doesn't look cool about the fireball is it has coated mild steel piping (not SS). I guess it's coated so it shouldn't rust.

Oh, it's also 10 times louder than the HKS Carbon Ti cat-back... I've also had that (the HKS Carbon Ti cat-back) on my car previously to the 5Zigen!

Neale, good info to specify the differences in the Fireball and Miracle Fireball
Travis, it's the resulting boredom of a "fine Jesuit education" that makes me slack off and read about cars instead of textbooks
BTW, from a review I read in Option Magazine, two great N1 style exhausts are the Fujitsubo Power Getter and the Fujitsubo RM-01A. They make excellent hp an tq, but I'm not too knowledgeable about them when it comes to sound. Perhaps you might be able to help me out while doing your research?

Agreed... and it probably wouldn't reduce the sound much anyways.
I think I've found my ideal exhausts.... Ryan, thanks for pointing me in this direction!
Fujitsubo Power Getter and Fujitsubo Legalis Super R. Both are supposed to be relatively quite, high flowing, N1 style exhausts. They both have two resonators. The only thing is that you have to mate it up with a JDM-Spec downpipe... and they're a little expensive.
I think I'm slowly turning into a JDM *****! I'm going to get in contact with Gruppe-S and MPJ to get some pricing/availability info.

Hey Travis, thanks for the info on the Fujistubo's... I knew something about them was too good to be true lol! Good to see another JDM freak in the making
So what have you finally decided on?

I think I'm going to go with a Fujitsubo Legalis Super R... have to mate it up with a JDM DP though, so we'll see.

You do that, and I'll be jealous as hell of you Travis!!!
I secretly wanted to be the only Fujitsubo owner in SF, now I'll have to find an even more obscure JDM exhaust company bwahahaha
Anyhoo, congrats on a good choice!
