My car is stalling! (BOV problems)
Okay I went and installed a Blitz SS BOV last night and went for a drive. It was doing good for 20 miles or so and than suddenly it stalls on me... I let the car sit on the side of the road for 2 hrs.. and it starts but once I traveled 1 mile or so the car gave up on me again.. it wants to stall...
Good thing I was by my friends house and I called a tow truck to get it there. Now I suspect it's the BOV that is causing the problem.. since I just found out I shouldn't be running an aftermarket BOV while using an Accessport.
My question is.. what should I do now? should I put the stock BOV part back on and it will solve the problem?
Anybody have the same set up as me.. ?
Any help is appreciated.. thank you..

Make sure you don't have a leak.
E.g. make sure that all the hoses are connected, BOV flange gasgets in place and not broken, blow off valve is not stuck open.

It's more than just 'smoke' - unburned fuel washes lubricating oil off the cylinder walls of your engine, leading to poor piston ring seal and accelerated wear of the rings and cylinder walls.
NOTE: Generally, black smoke indicates a rich mixture condition (unburned raw fuel), white smoke is water vapor (probably condensation or coolant), and bluish smoke indicates burning oil in the engine. You can often smell the difference at the tailpipe, too, if it gets to the point where the smoke is easily visible.

why u ask to disconnect the battery?
1. directions say to do that
2. my experience...when i did disconnect my battery when i was installing the HKS, i didnt realize the cable was still touching the terminal, so techincally i guess it was "still connected" in some sense, ran my car...my revs went up and down, over and over. so i back tracked, made the sure nothing was touching the battery, and reinstalled the HKS and problems were gone
my advice, go back and recheck your work...plus redoing the BOV dont take that long
