Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Unhappy My baby idles wierd and sometimes dies

It was doing it all of a sudden even before I installed an aftermarket BOV. My current set up are:
HKS DP
3 " exhaust system with a Buddy Club exhaust.
MBC
Blitz intake.

I think it's my intake, but it's been on my car for more than a year, and it's never done this until recently. Anyone had this problem before? Thanks guys

Vic

It might be the combination of your BOV settings (if adjustable) and the MAF mis-readings from the intake.

this is a little off the subject but where did you get the buddy club exhaust from? im just curious i would like to take a look at them thanks. my friend had the same problem with his integra it ended up being the idle air control valve he got another one and replaced it and it was cured but yours is not a honda so i would say it is possible that your spring setting needs adjusted or something.

I got my Buddy Club from a friend. Supposedly he got off a Skyline.

I'm using a TurboXS RLF. The wierd idle started before I installed my BOV. That's why I'm leaning more towards the intake.
