i would wait cause so far their the cheapest ones. local shops in hawaii want to charge me 700

 

i got a magnaflow street series stainless polished muffler off ebay for around $115 shipped. inlet was 2.5". had a local shop weld it up for about $50. very nice sound and look.

 

I just put a Stromung 2.5" twin tip axleback on my WRX and it sounds a tad louder than the stock muffler from idle to 3000RPM which is total stealth. But at wide open throttle it has a beautiful, rich tone that is not loud enough to get pulled over by the cops but loud enough so that everyone knows the Subie is the bomb!!
Also they can be bought used for well under the $500 asking price of a new Stromung.

 

Look around on the for sale by members forums for something used. You can find a full catback for the same money your would spend for a brand new muffler and having it welded on.

 

dont get a muffler, its pointless, save and get a cat, i got the borla hush, amazing i love it and its worth ever $$$, a muffler does not do n e thing except make ur car loud and annoying......
