What car is this from and will it fit in an 01 rs ?

 

it says its twin turbo.. sounds a bit shiesty

 

There is a Legacy TT in Japan but that set up won't work w/ or cars due to the fact that we have LHD. Its not like that motor come w/ the turbos so pretty much it should be a drop in motor just as if you were putting in a USDM EJ20 in a 01 and below impreza. But if a place looks shiesty to you do a search on them, see if check out to be ok.

It depends if your willing to pay shipping or maybe even going to a cool local dealer ship. I would go the dealer.

 

I wouldnt take the risk of buying it from them. There are many other, safer options

 

what the subaru dealer ? seems like it would be a bit pricey.
I looked on this site car-parts.com, and did an inquiry for the motor and came up with some results. All from cars with salvage titles i guess but that doesnt mean the motor is ruined. Prices from $2000 and up dont sound to bad. Just need to take a drive to check them out.

 

2 grand for the entire motor doesn't sound bad at all As long as its all still in working order.
