on wednesday i got the motor from the builder and put it in. for the last few days i have been doing the finishing touches on it. i ran into a few problems and i had to work them out yesterday. i had a brand new turbo-up pipe gaskets that started leaking. so i had to take everything apart and redo it which was not too bad. i have put about 100 miles on it so far and let me say that it has alot of torque. i have not went past 50% throttle and more than 4000 rpm. i have having some idling issues when i go out of gear and slow down. i need to have my ecu read to see whats exactly wrong. otherwise it runs perfect. it starts pulling at 2500 alot. i drove about 30 miles of freeway driving and in 5th gear i could easily feel it pull just by pushing the gas a little going from 3000 rpm up to 4000 rpm. my clutch need some getting used to as its pressure plate is 2800 lbs plate and is not very easy to use. i am sure that if i race with my stock tranny it would be pulverized in about two seconds. i will probably put another 1400 miles on it before i really see what it can do. i noticed that with the 9:1 compression and the lightened flywheel that it revved up really fast. when i say fast i mean like a gsx-r 1000 fast. i tapped the gas in neutral and it shot to 4500 rpm like it was nothing. i will up date everyone as i work out all of the glitches.
