more boost with oem exhaust?

Question for all the ej20 peeps running on a non-factory up-pipe, stock down-pipe and exhaust and higher boost.
Are you having any problems with the stock exhaust?
any turbo issues? any problems at all?

My good friend and mechanic is against the idea that i get rid of my TURBO XS Ti exhaust system for a factory one. Althought I am keeping my boost contrl and turboxs up-pipe

he says that running a factory exhaust will mess everything up due to it holding more heat and being so restrictive it could hurt engine or turbo etc...
now if this is the case I will keep the exhaust until I can get something less... well you know what I mean.

gimmee some feedback, thanks!
