Mishimoto MMRAD-WRX-01 Aluminum Radiators - install issues?
My radiator in my 02 was cracked at both top and bottom tanks by a recent cold snap... the dealer wants to charge me $400 for an OEM eplacement, but I can find the Mishimoto MMRAD-WRX-01 online for $240. Do any of you have this one? Are there any issues AT ALL with installing it (mounting fans, hose lengths, etc.) - I'm worried that if I bring this radiator to the dealer to install they will tack on extra labor saying it was tough to install. I'd normally go with a tuner shop over the dealer, but I'm also having the cold weather/fuel line issue taken care of at the same time, and only a dealer will do that one for free...
Yes I have this one. Go to a radiator shop and get a drain plug for the radiator. The one that comes on it was broken on 3 different ones i got and I finally said screw it and bought my own. It was pretty much a set screw.
