Is it me or does my MPG suck?

After my vf39 install n tune Ive been gettin about 16mpg before when I was running stage 2 I was getting about 18mpg...I do push my car once in a while but i think my car is running pretty rich because my bumper where my exhaust is full of blk exhaust. what can i do to improve my mpg? should i just buy more parts n get a retune?

I'm sure a tune would help if you haven't gotten one since gettin the turbo. There are a couple bolt ons that can help but its mostly just stuff to reduce rotational mass, crank pulley, driveshaft, lightened wheels.

i average 18-20 on a stage 3 setup. highway was closer to 28-30. you might want to get a better tune. you shouldn't be getting the black bumper. you are running too rich. wasting gas

I've gotten as low as 15mpg when my WRX was stock. How you drive effects the MPG as much as mods.

If you love the RPMs that have boost, the MPG goes down.
