Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Oh right...sorry. Anyway, 60mph is pretty high.

But one question:

Is it with "granny shifting" or full blast acceleration from 0-60mph? Looks like its gonna be normal granny shifting daily driven style. In that term, there isn't really much besides the up/dp(uppipe mostly) and a boost controller thats cost effective below the 3000rpm line that I can think off.

There are few things you can do.

What is your budget?

Also, please post these kinds of questions in FFI forum. Not here.

Cliffy move it.

well, if he's going to still keep the stock snail (which i think he will), then opening up the exhaust a bit will cause better spool on the turbo and the car will feel very responsive thus better power on the low end. i'm pretty sure that the small TD04 is one of the fastest spooling turbo's around. in fact, i think he would be better off just opening up the exhaust and get a COBB reflash. I have the stage 2 and let me tell you that lag is pretty much non-existent and the low to midrange punch is very, very good. the turbo spools very quickly. i think that much of the hidden bottom end lies in the ECU. it has a fairly conservative map (coming from the factory), however, yes, a reflash will do wonders. that's pretty much the solution to the problem.

This is just a really nice older guy that doesn't want too much attention, he reads this board everyday, but wants to stay lowkey. He has no-plans to ever race his car, he just wants a little more power from stoplight to stoplight.
dude,

your blowing my cover!

well, if he doesn't mind spending a little bit of money (I thought for some reason we were talking less expensive ), Then like everybody's kinda saying, a boost controller (of choice), up-pipe, and downpipe, ... with stock intake (w/silencer removal) and catback. That will totally change the attitude of the car, and it'll still be quiet. I'm kinda liking how quiet my car is now with the same setup (Plus the vf30).
