I took out my hks bov today and noticed on my turbo timer (that also measures boost) that the maximum boost I was achieving was .74 bar, when I had my bov on the max I boosted was .97. I redlined it on 1st and 2nd gear today and still only achieved a max of .74, I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else......maybe I did something wrong taking out the bov but I looked at everything and looks ok. I will try re-setting the ecu, but is this normal? Everything on the car is stock.

 

wow...u were at .97 bar with just bov? I'm running stage 2 and I think thats what im getting...

 

well is .74 normal for a stock wrx? I am beginning to think that the gauge may not be accurate, because my car doesnt feel any slower than usual.....thanks for the reply though.
