Angry Low Boost??

I have a 05 wrx with a Vf39, ecu reflash (vishnu), Sti pinks and fuel pump, and I,H,E. The seals went bad in the Vf39 and I sent it to deadbolt to get rebuilt. Before I was boostin to 18psi. And now that I got the turbo back and put on, I am only boostin to about 14 psi. Can anyone help me. Thanks in advance.

Did you install it back yourself? Possible boost leak in the piping?

If I were you, find someone that has a boost leak tester and run it on you car, it will tell you where your leaking from.

Yes, I installed it myself. The Vf39 doesn't have an adjustable WG arm. I will perform a boost leak test and see what happens.

I tried to do a boost leak test and couldn't get it to hold psi at all. Does anyone know how to perform a boost leak test on Subarus??

Make sure your Boost Controller is working properly. Mine went out the other day and it dropped down to 12 psi. installed one of my spares and back to 20psi.
