Just installed a hks ssq bov

hey, I just installed a hks ssq bov and I was wondering is it suppose to make the sound when its in neutral. Because mines only makes the sound when driving. I tried reving it a couple of times, when i was parked but didn't hear anything. So what im asking is, is it suppose to be like this or am i suppose to fix it

i also recently installed this and i think i know why it doesnt make the chirp in neutral. My guess is that while in neutral, either the car does not produce full boost(likehow 1,2,and 3, gears dont have the full boost) or that the car is not being forced to move any weight, so its working less. when i ahve a full car i can hear the turbo a great deal more than with one person and no gas..

If you've got a boost gauge installed, you'll notice that if the car is in neutral and you gun it, the boost gauge doesn't go up at all; it sticks just slightly above 0. You need boost pressure before the BOV can release it (and make the cool 'woosh').
