Yea, most likely if the engines are pretty similar, which they are. If not the same. Intakes are bad performance wise, but if you like to hear that son of a biatch suck in as ur gasin' it, get the loudest one

Doing the silencer mod is damn near as loud as an intake, but far cheaper. If you intend to do real upgrades to your engine (meaning anything to do with fuel, spark, or engine management) avoid intakes.

Josh at Cobb Tuning on intakes.

I personally choose to believe those sections of the thread that relate to cold-air intakes skewing of MAF readings, therefore I run an unmodified factory airbox on my close-to-stock engine.

Like everyone else says, stock is the way to go if you wanna avoid plenty of heartache and wasted cash. Good luck!

They're postin +8.6 hp claims on the TurboXS website with this on an STI. I've heard all of the info regarding the stock box but I'm planning on going the TurboXS mod route so I'm emailing them to see if they have any WRX numbers or more info. I'll post the results here.

I had an AEM and a Blizt SUS. The AEM flat out took away power so i took it off and sold it. The Blitz SUS felt the same as the stock air box but i couldn't feel/notice any gains.

So i think of CAI's and short rams like this: it's like having really bad back pain and taking a handful of asprin to ease the pain. Sure you're feeling great... but you're masking the fact you're still in pain.

That's what it felt like having the Blitz SUS on... i couldn't tell if i was hurting anything or not and couldn't feel any gains... so i sold it too and went back to stock to be safe.

However, i did the velocity stack mod as seen in scoobymods and love it...
