Installed Greddy intake 2003 wrx

All I have to say is its the coolest mod yet since I've had the car(three weeks). I can here the turbo spool like mad. the factory bov is loud enough to where I don't feel the need to buy a aftermarket one for now. I got the intake filter and adapter for 160 bucks at www.speedalliance.com . I like it more than the nvidia exhaust i had put on, and it was like a 1/4 the price.

Well if theres any question if it's worth it any of you I hope this helps. My car sounds more like my boosted 240sx now.

Let me know how it's working after a couple weeks. I've been reading up a lot in CAIs, and the majority of threads have said that the CAI is not good for the WRX. Hope it works out for you. Check out NASIOC.com.

it's not a cold air just a filter adapter. my buddy has had his for like 3 weeks no problems at all. I doubt it will do much as far as any harm to the car. not alot of power gains just sounds cool as all hell.

My friend has had the same intake on his WRX for about 2 months and he hasn't had any problems yet. It sounds good, but a little loud for my taste.

hmmm...I was going to buy an INJEN or AEM intake next week on my 1 year ole 2002 WRX. Not too much to do without voiding warranty. But I can't wait to hear how it sounds!

I have an Injen CAI on my '03 and I have had it on there since a week after I bought the car (dealer installed, 3 months ago). I have never had a CEL thrown and the car runs great.

I have had my Greddy Intake for a bout 5 months and I love it. I have not had any problems with it. I does sound great. I also have a ZeroSports Intake pipe and I love it also. I am now wanting to put a turbo inlet pipe on my car but I am not sure which one to get and which is the easiest to install.

I have the perrin short ram intake and Honestly if you plan on doin any tunning at all its either goin to be a Factory intake , APS or a Intake that wont mess with the A/F ratios and the Perrin short ram does not do that. It and the TXS shorty intake both have the Dia. Piping as factory so therefore not messing with the MAF but if you want an intake it is your money and choice only tryin to drop a line of info.
