Installed GFB BOV, have question
Ok I just installed a GFB 50/50 BOV and I have a question. I have the newer version with the spring preload adjuster **** on top. Here's my dilemma. If I build low boost (.5 bar) and I release the pedal I get a slight noise coming from the passenger side engine bay. It could be wastegate flutter, but I don't know exactly what flutter sounds like. It isnt too loud and it's only for a spilit second. Its as if there is not enough pressure to open the BOV. I have the adjuster **** almost all the way out (loose) and it still does it. I'm just wondering if this is normal?
Also, if the adjuster is too loose, is it possible that it would leak boost at stock boost levels?

You never actually described the sound that you're hearing. I dont think you'd be able to identify a flutter if it were only for a "split second".. what is it that you are hearing?

Ok, I'm thinking that my BOV is working properly. My new question is if there is any way to test whether or not the gasket between the BOV and IC is sealed properly?
