Before the guage was a little above .9 bar. Now it's at around .85 bar.

Is this normal? If so, does this mean I can now raise my boost controller an additional .5 bar?

 

i got more boost when i went catless. but if you do raise your boost, make sure you raise it .05 bar. .5 bar would be too much

er so I have heard somewhere someone saying "you'll get less boost b/c the turbo operates on backpressure and catless means less" although I didn't think this made sense until I looked at my boost guage. Strange...

 

so why am I getting .85 bar? Speculations?

how do I get tested for an exhaust leak?

Car sounds fine... pretty quiet except for the turbo whine and muffler

 

verc, did you change out anything else at the same time as the catless?
