The stromung sound is pretty unique and virtually universally liked. Power gains are about the same for any catback, however, because the most restrictive parts of your exhaust are still in place.

just wanted to know what everyone thinks about the stromung sound and performance.
I'm contemplating about ordering them soon but not sure if i should spend 600$ on an axle back and a intermediate pipe.

i also found out that stromung makes a downpipe with a high flow cat. But i'll probably keep my stock one since everyone says the stock downpipe is the one on the sti and is good up to 300hp.
They have a third-cat pipe eliminator for sale. I'll probably cop that as well as their axle back.
thanx for the input guys

If you plan to upgrade your turbo, ever, get a good DP and be done with the stock one. Your turbo will spool MUCH better, even the stock one.
I have the 3"Stromung DP back and the single tip, and I get compliments on the sound all the time
