Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

The stromung sound is pretty unique and virtually universally liked. Power gains are about the same for any catback, however, because the most restrictive parts of your exhaust are still in place.

just wanted to know what everyone thinks about the stromung sound and performance.

I'm contemplating about ordering them soon but not sure if i should spend 600$ on an axle back and a intermediate pipe.
I have a Strömung 3" dual-tip catback and like it a lot. It's louder than stock, although pretty quiet at idle. Strömung also has a full 3" turbo back exhaust due out soon, according to latest posts from Brian at Flash N Dash Performance, a Vendor on i-Club.

You might also check out the Exhaust system Reviews section of i-Club.

If you plan to upgrade your turbo, ever, get a good DP and be done with the stock one. Your turbo will spool MUCH better, even the stock one.
I have the 3"Stromung DP back and the single tip, and I get compliments on the sound all the time
