I'm goin VF34 i think
after much deliberation I've decided to go for the parts listed below:
1. VF34 maybe deadbolt monster VF34(maybe Gruppe s pkg with pump n injectors)
2. samco IC hoses
3. Not sure what engine manegment yet
I already have TXS TBE with cobb stage 2 reflash..........Should I upgrade IC???I would like to get mgmt that allowed for a shop to tune me.........Thats the only bad thing about cobbs reflash......Any thoughts??

I just posted in another thread about how having the cobb reflash is fairly cheap, and the easy way but not worth it. It makes it to were you have to mod your car as they allow you kinda (plus your tuned by mail if you dont live close by).
I have ECUtek and kinda in the same boat but Rallispec is about 20mins from my house so thats great. If your not near a tuner that can get the ECUtek then your next step (beside stand alone) is the Turbo XS u-tek....ORRRR the AEM piggyback that just came out. I dont know much about it though but "heard" its the hot ****. I know AEM you think honda but sheeeet man hondas can put down some serios power when built right..more then most wrx's will see.
As for turbo Id go with the big 16G thats out now for the ej20's. The only reason I say that is because a VF, or IHI turbo is just so typical...plus the 16G will raise some of those scooby doo'ers eye brows at the meets. I think so compared to just another VF turbo you know...plus the 16G has been very succesfull with the dsm guys. Or hey get the 18G or wait for the 20G hehehe and smoke some **** up.

I just checked and Fi-systems has the TXS UTEC!!!!This is a good thing!!!!Instead of reflashing my ECU again I could get a UTEC and have FIS Dyno tune!!!!!!Ok engine mgmt solved!!!!As far as turbo goes I'm looking for one that is priced right and will get me in the 300whp ballpark..........That way MAYBE my tranny will last a little while at least
I agree the IHI series turbo IS a little common and I would like a better conversation piece but price is an issue.............
