Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Lightbulb I got cool stuff what's it cost to put on?

Ok, Ok, Ok, It is almost summer and everyone know's you have to have a cool car in the summer time, right?

Well here's what I havein boxes all over my tiny little room)

Hks turbo timer(type 1)
Hks Carbon-Ti exhust
Hks up-pipe
Helix downpipe
IHI Vf34
Perlin fuel rails
Perlin oil catch can
Sti injectors
NGK spark plugs
Walbro fuel pump
Utec and remote map thingy

Also. installed I have air/fuel, boost, EGT(see question 3), and I have spots for two more guages(was thinking fuel and oil pressure)

My question is how much to put all this stuff on?(in time and what have others payed) I could do it but I don't have a lift and I am not crawling all over the ground. I will put on the utec remote thing, tt and aem cold air intake(ya I got a Cold air, you all hate them but it was free), and the catch can.

Question #2

Anyone see have holes in my set up? I think it looks like a stage 4. Think I should go with an aftermarket fuel reg.?, if so which one? I have been looking into other top mounts, think this is a must? Cooler thermostat, for the summer? I am kind of running out of money(things got a little out of hand)

Question #3(really #6)

What are people out there getting for EGT temps? I can get like 1200 stock, it that bad? I ahve heard people haveing much better temps. What will I expect after the Stage 4?

Ok all you smart get to it tell me what's up, cause I am stupid and I have(had) to much money

I don't mean to be insensitive or sound like an *** in any way, but if you don't learn how to drive your car before you install all that stuff, I guarantee you will crash it soon after you install all that stuff.
Go to a good driving school or you will regret it.

Also, you seem to know NOTHING about your car....you may blow it up unless you learn what to do and what NOT to do with and to it.

I would say less than $700, at least around here where there are good mechanics. I would do the easy stuff myself (like fuel pump, UTEC, TT, exhaust)...and just let someone good do the turbo/inj/rails.

I am going to do the utec and tt and this easy stuff myself. I also do know how to drive I have only totaled one car A saab 9000 turbo. I got a quote from the place that does installs for turboxs here in maryland and they wanted 950. I thought that that was crazy and called gruppe-s and they said that do that stuff for about 500.

the downpipe and the TI exhaust can be installed relatively quickly. I'd give it about an hour or so to do both together.

the TT might take longer, depending on how well you can understand directions and wires.

i have no experience with the other stuff.

Well, you do! What kind of a judgement is that? He a sked simple questions related to the parts he had. He stated in his post(if you even read it) that he could do the work, there was just no lift ava. and he didn't feel like laying on the ground. Hell, this dude could be a formula one driver for all we know he just has some questions about his wrx. I think it is good to ask, THAT IS HOW YOU LEARN. The day a driving school teaches anything mechanical sign me up. I'm sorry if i'm one your case it just seemed a little harsh with absolutly no warrant.
