I searched quite a while and couldn't find anything on how to take off the side markers of my 02 wrx. I also tried to take them off myself but to no avail.

Can someone either link me to a "how to on how to take off the side markers" or tell me how to do it?

ya you just press on it really hard and then press down i think. if that doesnt work just press down really hard and push them up but if i recall you press them down and they just pop right out.

 

take out your head-lights and then you'll see the side marker clips then just go from there

 

i used a screwdriver and out the came thats all

 

dont want to chance scratching the paint though
its alot easier taking out the head-light

 

put a rag over the screwdriver.thats what i did

 

ok d00d thens theres 2 ways of doing it

persian prince: 2 ways to take them out
1:take the head-light out then go from there
2:use a rag and screwdriver to pop it out

 

yup have fun

 

dont use a rag and screwdriver. just push them down hard and slide them up and they just pop right out. takes three seconds. dont take out your headlight either.
