how to make mu car cooler ?
Hi guys,
Living in South Pacific where the weather is particularly hot, I need some tips to make my car cooler.
Any inputs ?
- easy solutions/more difficult solutions,
- cheap/more expensive solutions,
- quick/less quick solutions.
I don't plan to get a FMIC now. Maybe later
PS : I'll soon receive an air splitter + radiator shroud.
Please forgive my english...

Get this stuff called "Redline water wetter". Basically it helps break up the water molecules from sticking to eachother (a bunch of chemistry). It won't necessarily make your car run too much cooler, maybe a few degrees, but it will help eliminate certain "hot-spots" in the engine. There are plenty things about it all over the internet, do a google search and you will be sold on it. I think I paid like 4 bucks for a bottle at pepboys.
BTW, my engine cools down really really fast after adding it in.

If your referring to the Zerosports or replica type 'shroud', it might help a little bit but it works even better just to seal the gap between the radiator support and the radiator itself using some sort of gasket or heat-resistant foam that you can squeeze into that gap by hand. You might try a local home improvement store and look at the heating/air-conditioning section. Don't use anything permanent like silicone because you might have to pull the radiator someday.
