i brought my car down to the guy who put my cat back in. He said that the downpipe was too short for my car and that it didnt fit. That was the reason why it was rattling. I have heard of this issue and was address many posts ago. So be aware of this problem for people who are thinking about purchasing a HKS downpipe. Performance is great, and so is the price. The only thing wrong was the fitment.

i have a 2003. what the guy did was flare out my cat back by cutting out like 3 inches of my pipe and putting in a longer pipe so that it is longer. It came out to look nice and it works real great. Yes its the same on on EBAY

I paid $175 for custom pipe bending, $175 for HKS DP, and $60 more dollars to have the cat back flared. Its up to you. More than likely, you are going to need more work done.
