HKS BOV Problem

Those of you who have the HKS BOV for the wrx.... is it bad that i lost the plug for it? i think its used to plug up the "dump tube"? i didnt install it yet cuz of that. any ideas as to where i can get a new plug?

uh, yes it is bad. you NEED to plug up that hose before you install your bov

find a piece of wood thats round and plug the hole or anything else that wont get sucked in and just plug it whith what ever

exactly.....a phat wooden dowel, or anything that will fit SNUG inside the tube.....then HOSE CLAMP the plug inplace to ensure that it is secure in the tube.

sorry to hijack here but... after installing the bov i started hearing a low pitch hissing/whin sound coming from the bov at idle... (did the tube in hear test to see where it was coming from)

why is this? anyone eles notice this sound?
