I need to hook up this HKS bov I got off of some dude on i-club. it came with the adapter but no cap to plug up the big return hose on the stock bov. can I use something else to plug up the hose? maybe Saran wrap or something? isn't it just basically to plug up that hole so stuff won't get in the engine? any input would be great. thanks.

i wouldn't use saran wrap most likely will just melt
try leaving in the stock elbow and putting a bottled water cap in the other end
ghettofied but i think it works.

 

at kragen or pepboys you can purchase a rubber hose plug. or you can order the aluminum one from hks online.

 

cool thanks guys. hey I just got word from some tuner that it's not good to use an after market bov, especially in any case where the ECU was already tuned with the stock bov on. so if an after market bov, especially one that does not recirculate, is put on after the ecu tuning, the car would run like ****...is that true?
