HKS BOV install

Hi,
I just got my HKS Super Sequential BOV for my '04 Java Black Pearl WRX.

How difficult is the install, i am mechanically inclined and have all necessary tools. is it as simple as taking the "Factory" unit off and installing the HKS one, then just hooking the vac line up and away we go?

has anyone run into any problems or could someone post some pics of ones already installed. thank you

the hardest part is putting in the rec. hose plug. Removing the intercooler saves about 10 min of headaches. Other then that its 2 bolts, a hose and youre done.

buy the WRX kit, and you will install it less than 5 minutes
it comes w/ everything you need
i have it, and it's awesome
very very loud *psss* sound

yes, i have the WRX kit with the flange and everything, i havnt had time to open it up and check it out yet. is it straight forward?

so you guys recommend i take off the I/C to do the install? also is it simply reconnecting the vac source? or do i need to re-route it? any help with pics would be a huge plus!

i also have an hks bov question. is there anything special about the black connector for the vaccuum line?

As stated, the plug is about the hardest. You can still install the bov easily with the intercooler on. All in all, you're looking at about 20 mins for an install. It's easy. Just give it a shot.

make sure you got a small ratchet. that was my hardest part. i had the normal size one and it didnt work so i had to put everything back on and drive to sears.
