HELP!!!!Smoke from turbo

i am getting smoke from my engine bay when i am either cruisin or at idle!!

i pop the hood and it is coming from my turbo!

i have been told it could be an oil fitting on the turbo but im not sure!

it only happens when im not boostin' so bascically only when oil is going to my turbo

any help would be appreciated

and i know the turbo isnt cracked cause i am still gettin plenty of boost(15psi)

If your gonna buy a new turbo and your sticking with stock go for the 06 or 07 wrx TD04. Much much better and reliable compared to the earlier years. And if your doing an upgrade thinking of the VF34 or VF39 go for the 07 sti turbo the VF43 no leaks and built to last. Good Luck.

^^^^AGREE couldnt be more perfect. But if u do upgrade remember To upgrade ur Fuel pump, and Injectors as well, Since the earlier year WRXs need bigger injectors to run a VF34 or VF39

I told you tho, I know ur leak is comin from the oil return line, and I be its the Oil reutrn line gasket

prolly the oil line. i had this happen to me before as well due to a crack on the weld of the line.
