Did you change the fuel pump or did something to the ECU? How many miles on the car are you the original owner? What alarm do you have? Sorry for asking so many question just trying to help.

Smile help! my car will not start after stall!

hey, the computer is stock no UTEC/reflash of any type. the WRX has 43 thousand miles, cant' give a exact number because battery is out of car. i purchase in 02 with 26 thousand miles on her. i am the 2nd owner. the wagon was totaly stock. but not for long, wink wink.. i was thinking about the alarm too hmm. it's an Auidovox , it does have started-kill. it was installed by a friend who has worked in the install bay at Best Buy for 7 years, he's good. the alarm has been in the car for almost a year. hey bro thanks for the quick reply. i am currently changing the plugs and fuel filter. this is the 2x i have done this. 1x wuz right after i purchased her. #1 and #2 plugs look fine, so far so good. i keep ya posted. oh yea! thanks again for the fast reply.

maybe MAF sencor or somthing to do with the STI intercooler piping. I know it doesn't fit exactly right, you may have leak. If you have a hole anywear in your intake piping before the Throttle body, it will do this, so I would check all of this and tighten everything down.

Did you scan for codes(P0340= reflash)? See if you can push start it and check your 60amp fuse in the main box under the hood.

hello subie nation! it's ALIVE! well after replacing the plugs and fuel filter i tried to start her, nothing. returned backed to the forum and someone mentioned something about fuses. i had already checked the fuses but checked again. prior to that i also read on the forum some place about the noise the fuel pump makes putting fuel pressure in the lines, i no longer heard that noise. i then checked the fuse box in the engine bay and there it was the 2nd bus fuse on the 2nd row was bad (SBF) no#5. i replaced it and tried to start. prior to starting i listened for the fuel pump noise there it was again! she fires right up! thanks to all who buzzed in. thank you SUBIE NATION!!!!!

can it be the BOV? My friend's evo would die on him on and off because his BOV wasn't secure enough. He had to buy a high pressure clamp before his problem went away.

Subie Nation, i just talked to Masturo Surbaru in Tampa. they have told me that the P1130 is a problem with the 02 sensor on the exhaust manifold before the up-pipe. i do remember funking it up during the fun filled weekend that will foever be remembered as, 48 hours of up-pipe install or hey! i am missing a down-pipe nut, did i leave it in the turbo? well they have informed me that this is the first they have heard of a WRX throwing fuel pump fuses. hmm... i am parking her until i can work on these prob... issues this weekend.
