i decided to stick with a new set of oems w/rings only runnin 18g or vf, not sure yet, i need to pick soon because the block, Sti TMIC, valve covers, and intake manifold are sent out to unknown coatings for heat dissipating thermal coat, and oe style red power coat. all the parts will be back within two weeks. and the oem full gasket & seal kit will be in tomorrow. lmk if you have any good insight on options. thanks ed oh btw after i get the internals rebuild i will need some injectors and i'm coming to you for them!

Why buy stock pistons & rings when stronger aftermarket pieces are available....for the same cost or less?

I agree with Paul on this one. No point at all in spending money for stock pistons.
