Heat Soak?

OK, so by now, I've figured out that heat soak is a major factor when running my 04 WRX at the drag track, but my question is, how do I get rid of it (I know the obivous, turn the car off and let it sit), but I'm looking for anything else... or what can I do to prevent it or keep it from happening for as long as possible?

Thanks

wrap the downpipe and get turbo wrap, and make sure you have a heat shield.
Thats about unless you want to go FMIC then youll have some lag to deal with.

Between runs you can throw a bag of ice on the IC.

heat wrap + ceramic coat your exhaust headers, uppipe and downpipe.
Get a bigger top mount intercooler. not much else other the running ice on the intercooler.
