how is it wrong to take off the heat shield.. there is no other way to unbolt the downpipe without it off.

I agree with links_courses. The SPM heat shield works great, is easy to put on and take off. And Jeremy is a good guy to work with. I give 2 thumbs up to Speedmonkee.

Hey GreatWhite,

Just go to www.ScoobyMods.com and they will have the pics that you want so that you can modify the factory shield so that you can re-install it on your car.

It is under 02 WRX and then perf and then go to the second page and you will see the thread turbo heat shield mod.
