I am going to be buying a header in a couple of weeks and I am thinking about getting the GT Spec header. Vivid Racing has it listed for 779.99. They say it is stainless, perfect fit, and adds 25-30 hp. But this sounds to good to be true.
Does anyone have this header? Any problems with it?
Any input you have will be great. If this header sucks, what one do you guys think is the best.

I'm buying a bunch of stuff all at once and a header is among them. I am also getting a blitz cat-back, Perrin downpipe, and I was going to do a header at the same time. I also ordered a blitz intake. which I will have on by then.

So I was wondering what header is the best. I want to do the whole system at once so the car can breath.

On the stock turbo your gains will be no where near 20HP. But there are gains nonetheless.

 

You should also think about doing the uppipe.

 

I think the GT spec comes with an up pipe. If not I will order one also.

don't forget to check other sites since everything vivid sells is overpriced, IMO. you should check gruppe-s, they also have a header... and i believe they are almost identical, there are also plenty of other vendors that offers exact same headers for lower price.
