hey guys I just bought a used gruppes header and just wondering how much gain I should be expecting untuned. I heard it should give me roughly 10whp.

 

did you get the gruppe-s sticker with it?

 

he bought it used, so id say no on the sticker. 10whp sounds like a lot for just a header.what other mods do you have?

 

headers will make more power if you have more mods. if you just have exhaust it will make less than if you have a full turbo setup. I would say around 5-10hp. i would recommend getting it tuned to get the full power out of it and to not mess up teh engine to much.

 

I'm running vf39 setup so yea not stock turbo. I installed it yesterday seems like a slight gain in power the sound is also slightly different. I will ask for a quote for a touch up tune.

 

you should have a more raspy sound to it.

its just slightly different like makes the car sound little louder and by raspy hm...kinda hard to explain have u heard other cars with headers?
