I recently ordered an sti tmic. I figured since I'm going to have the ic out I may as well replace some hoses while I'm in there. I've heard you can get some nice power gains with those polyurathane hose kits. Any recommendations?

 

i like the prodirve because its only the one Y piece the other ones dont do much from IC to TB and the recirc line does nothing

 

the tmic is already coming with an sti "Y" pipe.. would it still make sense to replace that?

 

it isnt necessary to replace the sti hoses if it already comes with them. they are still better than the stock wrx hoses. but if you do decide to replace them, i perfer samco hoses. a perfect fit all the time.

 

will samco IC hoses for a 02-03 fit with a 04 STI TMIC?

and will the stock BOV from a 02-03 fit with a STI TMIC while we on the subject ;o

 

i am not sure about the y hose(turbo to intercooler) but i know taht the hose connecting the intercooler to the throttle body fits.

the stock bov will fit the sti. i have a hks bov for the regular wrx on my sti tmic

 

the hose for the sti top mount ic is completely differnt. if it comes with the sti hoses, you dont need to upgrade. they are nice enough already. if it comes with the y pipe but no hose, you will have to fab a hose to connect the ic to the throttle body.

 

and the bov will fit too...!
